1. General characteristics of the profession

Rides on a crane to the place of work. Decides where to install it, given the strength and direction of the wind, the slope of the relief. With the help of movers makes loading, unloading and moving various goods. Monitors the health of the crane. Repairs it in case of breakage.

2. Requirements for the individual characteristics of a specialist

Physical endurance, fast motor reaction, accurate eye, good coordination of movements of the whole body, flexible distribution of attention, good memory, high stress tolerance, composure.

3. Medical contraindications

The work is contraindicated for people suffering from diseases: respiratory organs; of cardio-vascular system; digestive organs; kidney and urinary tract; musculoskeletal system; nervous; organs of sight and hearing. Every year the truck crane driver passes a medical commission.

4. Requirements for: professional training

Must know: rules of the road and safety; the design of the crane, the principles of operation of its mechanisms; rules of operation of machines; plumbing affairs; methods of production of loading and unloading.

Must be able to: control the crane when moving the machine and loading goods of different weight and volume; make repairs, including locksmith operations.
