1. General characteristics of the profession
The person who carries out technical supervision over the implementation of construction and installation works, acceptance of work and completed objects.
2. Official duties
Monitors the progress of construction plans, compliance with the volume, timing and quality of construction and installation work, as well as the quality of materials used, products, designs, approved design estimates, working drawings, building codes and standards, standards, specifications, and labor protection standards. He takes part in solving the issues of introducing changes into the projects in connection with the introduction of more advanced technological processes, space-planning and constructive solutions, ensuring a reduction in the cost and improvement of technical and economic indicators of construction and reconstruction facilities. Takes part in reviewing and agreeing on design changes arising during construction, quickly decides on the replacement, if necessary, of materials, products, and structures (without compromising the quality of construction projects). It studies the causes of deadlines and the deterioration of the quality of construction and installation works, taking measures to prevent and eliminate them.
Carries out technical acceptance of completed construction and installation works and objects, draws up the necessary technical documentation. Participates in the work of commissions for the acceptance of construction objects and their commissioning. Controls the quality of the elimination of deficiencies, defects in a timely manner. Keeps records of completed construction and installation works and prepares the necessary data for reporting on the implementation of construction plans.
3. Qualification requirements
Higher professional (technical) education and work experience in the field of construction for at least 3 years.
