1. General characteristics of the profession

2. Requirements for the individual characteristics of a specialist
The bricklayer must have physical strength and endurance, flexibility and mobility of the body and especially of the hands, a well-developed sense of balance, and no fear of heights.
He needs: coordination of hand movements, accurate eye, spatial imagination, technical thinking, sustained attention, visual-visual memory.
3. Medical contraindications
The work is contraindicated for people suffering from diseases of the cardiovascular system, musculoskeletal system, neuropsychiatric disorders, which have a predisposition to colds.
4. Requirements for training
Must have good training in physics, chemistry, mathematics, materials science.
He should know: safety regulations; methods of transmitting signals, commands to the crane operator; main types and properties of natural and artificial building materials, solutions; technology of construction and installation of parts of the building; purpose, device, rules of operation of inventory, tools, devices used during the laying and repair of stone structures of buildings and structures.
A bricklayer should be able to make and disassemble various types of masonry, make prefabricated elements in stone buildings, carry out works on sealing joints in prefabricated structures, repair brick walls and foundations.
