Lecture
1. General characteristics of the profession
Specialist in the creation, introduction into operation, maintenance of automated systems.
2. Official duties
The solution of the problem of management in production, in the field of environmental protection, in relation to banking, transport and other systems is the goal of training a specialist in this profile. He learns to develop algorithms for choosing the optimal control method, to implement them in the form of information technologies. The latter means that a specialist should be able to design the main stages of information processing, namely: where and what information to get and how to use it to decide how to transfer information to the processing center, choose the right computer, information and software system, display data and transfer of control to the place of its implementation. Specialists working in this field should have the system thinking and deep theoretical knowledge necessary for conducting system research, development, control algorithms and decision-making in automated systems for various purposes, to know the engineering graphics, electrical engineering fundamentals, electronics, computers and calculation methods, economics industries and enterprises.
3. Qualification requirements
Higher technical education, specialization “Automated information processing and control systems” is desirable.
