1. General characteristics of the profession

Mining equipment repairman is one of the prestigious working professions in mines and mines, other mining and mineral processing industries. 2. Requirements for the individual characteristics of a specialist

The profession places increased demands on the musculoskeletal system, hearing and vision. Attention, memory, perseverance, patience, emotional stability, spatial imagination, accuracy should be well developed.

3. Medical contraindications

The work is not recommended for people suffering from diseases of the musculoskeletal and cardiovascular systems, respiratory organs, kidneys and urinary tract, the musculoskeletal system (which impede movement), the nervous system, neuropsychiatric diseases, reduced visual and hearing indicators.

4. Requirements for training

Must know: the basics of mining, electrical engineering, automation and remote control, plumbing and electrical engineering, the production of electric and gas welding works. The device, purpose, principles of operation of mining machines, equipment, instrumentation. Causes and symptoms of equipment malfunction, methods of repair and troubleshooting. Basic safety requirements in the mining industry, and especially when working in underground conditions. The name and location of the mine workings and the rules of movement on them.
