1. General characteristics of the profession

2. Official duties
The counselor of the Telephone Trust service provides emergency psychological assistance by telephone to persons in crisis situations; reports the necessary information; records all appeals in the journal and statistical leaflet according to the codifier. The Consultant of the Telephone Trust service is obliged to comply with the internal regulations in accordance with the Telephone Trust Code. The counselor of the Telephone Trust service is required to consult a psychologist once a month for mental health purposes. The Consultant of the Telephone Trust service should possess the skills used in work: active listening, feedback, etc., strives for self-development, expanding knowledge and common horizons, improves their skills and skills of telephone counseling, participates in the creation and distribution of promotional materials of the service.
