2. Official duties
It studies the occurrence, developmental mechanisms and clinical manifestations of infectious diseases caused by pathogens, and develops methods for their treatment and prevention. Must know: the basics of general theoretical natural sciences, classification of infectious diseases, their etiology, epidemiology and prevention. Professionally important qualities: emotional and volitional stability, attentiveness, accuracy, high responsibility, observation, a large amount of long-term memory, an analytical mind. Medical contraindications: significant defects of vision and hearing, mental and nervous diseases, infectious diseases.
3. Qualification requirements
The Faculty of Medicine of a medical school, specialization in internship or in postgraduate courses for doctors.
