2. Official duties

Exercises control over the observance in the structural subdivisions of legislative and regulatory legal acts on labor protection, carrying out preventive work to prevent occupational injuries, occupational and occupational diseases, measures to create healthy and safe working conditions at the enterprise, for providing employees with established benefits and compensations for working conditions. He organizes the study of working conditions at workplaces, the work on measuring the parameters of hazardous and harmful production factors, certification and certification of workplaces and production equipment for compliance with labor protection requirements, controls the timeliness of the planned activities. Participates in the consideration of accidents and the development of measures to prevent them. Informs employees on behalf of the employer about the state of working conditions at the workplace, as well as measures taken to protect against hazardous and harmful production factors, and provides documents for the payment of compensation for harm caused to the health of workers as a result of an industrial accident or occupational disease. Organizes inspections, inspections of the technical condition of buildings, structures, equipment, machinery and mechanisms for their compliance with the requirements of normative legal acts on labor protection, the efficiency of ventilation systems, the state of sanitary equipment, sanitary facilities, collective and individual protection of workers, controls timeliness their holding. Ensures the participation of department staff in the preparation and submission of proposals for the development and implementation of more advanced designs of protective equipment, safety and interlocking devices, other means of protection from exposure to hazardous and harmful production factors, the development and implementation of measures to create safe and healthy working conditions, and rational labor regimes and rest. Participates in the compilation of the “Labor Protection” section of the collective agreement, monitors its implementation, as well as compliance with the instructions of the state supervision and control authorities, and other measures to improve working conditions. Participates in the coordination of the project documentation developed at the enterprise, in the work of commissions for the acceptance into operation of completed construction or reconstructed industrial facilities, for acceptance of installations, units and other equipment from repairs in terms of compliance with the requirements of normative legal acts on labor protection. Provides methodological assistance to heads of departments of the enterprise in drawing up lists of professions and positions, in accordance with which employees must undergo mandatory preliminary and periodic medical examinations, as well as lists of professions and positions, in accordance with which, on the basis of current legislation, workers are provided with compensation and benefits for heavy, harmful or dangerous working conditions in the development and revision of instructions on labor protection; enterprise safety standards. Provides conducting introductory and re-instructing, training and testing of knowledge on labor protection of employees of the enterprise. Controls the correctness of expenditure of funds for the implementation of labor protection measures in the company's divisions, analyzes and summarizes proposals for their expenditure and prepares justifications for allocating funds to the enterprise from the territorial labor protection fund for measures to improve conditions and labor protection. Organizes the work of the occupational safety office, propaganda and information on occupational safety at the enterprise using for this purpose the internal radio network, television, wall newspapers, shop windows, providing the company's departments with rules, regulations, instructions, posters and other visual aids on labor protection, and also providing them with methodological assistance in equipping relevant information boards. It brings to the attention of the employees of the enterprise the new laws and regulations on labor protection put into operation, organizes the storage of documentation on labor protection, drawing up reports in accordance with the established forms and in accordance with the terms established by the regulatory legal acts on labor protection. Participates in the consideration of letters, applications and complaints of workers on labor protection issues and the preparation of proposals to the employer on them to eliminate the shortcomings of omissions that are identified and revealed during the investigations, as well as the preparation of responses to the applicants. Liaises with medical institutions, research and other organizations on labor protection issues and takes measures to implement their recommendations. Supervises the department staff.

3. Qualification requirements

Higher professional (technical) education and work experience in labor protection in engineering, technical and managerial positions.
