1. General characteristics of the profession
A person reading informational, political, artistic, advertising materials at the microphone on the air and in magnetic recording.
2. Official duties
At the enterprises of the national economy, it is transmitting special programs and operational information through the official radio broadcasting network, transmits management orders and various announcements. At stations, it controls telemechanical indicators of the departure times of trains, aircraft, ships, buses. Monitors the work of radio equipment and other means of transmitting information and takes steps to eliminate their faults. On television and radio, the studio and the studio broadcasts of all types and genres. Expressively reads in the frame and behind the frame texts of broadcasts that are live or filmed (recorded) on film. Serves as a presenter in programs that do not require acting performance and special knowledge. Must know: the basics of acting and journalistic skills, perfectly master the technique of speech, have a rich knowledge of the Russian language (style). Professionally important qualities: good diction, memory, emotionality, artistic taste, logical thinking. Medical contraindications: violations of diction, nervous and mental diseases, pronounced disorders of the organs of vision and hearing.
3. Qualification requirements
Higher humanitarian education, preferably an institute of culture, an institute of arts.
