1. General characteristics of the profession

2. Official duties

Takes measures to accelerate the development in the production of advanced technological processes, the latest materials, the widespread introduction of scientific and technological achievements. He is in charge of drawing up plans for the introduction of technology and technology, increasing the technical and economic efficiency of production, the development of technological documentation, and organizes control over the provision of workshops, sections and other production departments of the enterprise. Considers and approves the changes made to the technical documentation in connection with the adjustment of technological processes and production modes. Monitors the implementation of promising and current plans for technological preparation of production, strict adherence to established technological processes, identifies violations of technological discipline and takes measures to eliminate them. Supervises work on the organization and planning of new workshops and sites, their specialization, mastering new technology, new high-performance technological processes, making calculations of production capacity and equipment loading, improving the technical level of production and the shift factor of equipment operation, drawing up and revising technical conditions and requirements raw materials, basic and auxiliary materials, semi-finished products, the development and implementation of progressive standards of labor costs, consumption t hnologicheskogo fuel and energy and raw materials, measures for the prevention and elimination of the marriage, reduced materials consumption and labor intensity of production. Carries out measures for certification and rationalization of workplaces. Participates in the work on the definition of the range of measured parameters and the optimal standards of measurement accuracy, the choice of the necessary means of their implementation, the improvement of product quality control methods. Examines designs for product designs or product composition, industry and government standards, as well as the most complex rationalization proposals and inventions related to production technology, gives conclusions about their compliance with the requirements of economical and environmentally friendly production technology. Coordinates the most complex issues related to the technological preparation of production, with departments of the enterprise, design, research organizations, representatives of customers. It provides the introduction of computer-aided design, organizational and computing equipment, automated control systems for equipment and technological processes. Participates in the development of projects for the reconstruction of the enterprise, measures to reduce the time taken to master the new equipment and technology, rational use of production capacities, reduce energy and material intensity of production, increase its efficiency, improve product quality, and improve the organization of labor. Supervises the research and experimental work on the development of newly developed technological processes, participates in industrial testing of new types of machines and mechanisms, means of mechanization and automation of production, in the work of commissions on the acceptance of equipment systems into operation. Manages the department’s employees, coordinates and directs the activities of the enterprise’s departments that provide technological preparation of production, organizes work to improve the skills of workers.
