1. General characteristics of the profession

Drives vehicles for various purposes, carries goods and people. Before leaving the garage checks the condition of the mechanisms of the machine. In the event of extraneous noise during flights, must establish the cause of the malfunction and eliminate it. The driver performs the work of daily maintenance of the car: washing, refueling and oil, lubrication, inspection, etc.

2. Requirements for the individual characteristics of a specialist

Good physical training and endurance, good eye, hearing, good reaction to moving objects. It should have a large amount of attention, a high ability to concentrate and distribute attention, developed visual-figurative thinking, spatial imagination. High emotional stability, self-control, discipline, responsibility.

3. Medical contraindications

The work is not recommended for people suffering from neuropsychiatric diseases, spinal diseases, peptic ulcer disease, color blindness, epilepsy, having monocular vision and disorders of the vestibular apparatus

4. Requirements for training

Good training in mathematics, physics, drawing and geography within the school curriculum. Must know the rules of the road, the device of the car, the order and frequency of maintenance work. Must possess sufficiently high vehicle driving technique.
