1. General characteristics of the profession
Works in construction organizations, repair and construction and housing and communal departments. He prepares concrete, wooden and metal structures for painting. Paints the surface by hand or with rollers, spray guns, pistols and other devices, pastes wallpaper. He owns the techniques of high-quality and decorative plaster work, as well as the techniques of multi-color painting of facades and buildings with special synthetic compositions.
2. Requirements for the individual characteristics of a specialist
The following psychophysiological qualities are necessary for successful activity: good aesthetic taste, eye, coordination of hand movements, creative imagination, attentiveness and accuracy in work, the ability to work at height.
3. Medical contraindications
The work is contraindicated for people with diseases: respiratory system (chronic bronchitis, chronic pneumonia, etc.); cardiovascular system (hypertension, heart failure, etc.); digestive organs (chronic liver diseases, etc.); musculoskeletal system (limiting the mobility of the arms, legs); nervous system (obsessive states, fainting, etc.); skin (dermitis, eczema, etc.).
4. Requirements for training
The painter should know: the basics of physics and chemistry (in the volume of secondary school); technology and equipment; Materials Science; basics of the picture.
