The task of the back office is the documentation and support of the transaction concluded by the traders of the counterparty companies (front office). In a number of Russian companies, back-office experts also engaged in buying securities from individuals. Back offices thus exist in banks, investment companies and other organizations that make transactions in the securities market. Depending on the volume and turnover of such an organization, the back office can consist of from three to fifteen people. The work of the back office is carried out in accordance with the regulatory documents of the Federal Commission for the Securities Market (Federal Commission on Securities).
