1. General characteristics of the profession

The person who manages the production and economic activities of the shop (site).

2. Official duties

It ensures the fulfillment of production tasks, the rhythmic production of high quality products, the effective use of fixed and circulating assets. Conducts work to improve the organization of production, its technology, mechanization and automation of production processes, prevent marriage and improve product quality, save all types of resources, introduce progressive forms of work organization, certify and rationalize workplaces, use reserves to increase labor productivity and reduce production costs. Organizes the current production planning, accounting, preparation and timely reporting on production activities of the workshop (site), work on introducing new forms of management, improving labor valuation, proper use of wage forms and material incentives, compiling and disseminating advanced techniques and methods of work , the study and implementation of advanced domestic and foreign experience in the design and production technology of similar products, the development of rational ation and innovation. Provides technically correct operation of equipment and other fixed assets and the implementation of schedules for their repair, safe and healthy working conditions, as well as the timely provision of working benefits on working conditions. Coordinates the work of craftsmen and shop services. Carries out the selection of cadres of workers and employees, their placement and appropriate use. Controls the observance by employees of the rules and norms of labor protection and safety, industrial and labor discipline, and internal work regulations. Presents proposals on the promotion of distinguished workers, the imposition of disciplinary measures on the violators of industrial and labor discipline, the application of measures of material influence, if necessary. Organizes work to improve the skills of workers and employees of the shop, conducts educational work in a team. 3. Qualification requirements

Higher engineering and technical education and work experience in engineering and technical positions for at least 3 years or secondary vocational (technical) education and work experience in engineering and technical positions for at least 5 years.
