1. General characteristics of the profession
Usually engaged in the collection or processing of any information on the computer: sorts materials, performs arithmetic calculations, makes tables, summaries, etc. In addition, monitors the state of the computer, monitor, printer and other technical means.
2. Requirements for the individual characteristics of a specialist
High visual acuity, stability of clear vision, sufficient mobility of the hands and fingers, accuracy and coordination of movements; high concentration of attention, good operative memory.
3. Medical contraindications
Activity is contraindicated for people suffering from diseases of the eye, spine (radiculitis), neuropsychiatric diseases.
The development of the profession and the performance of work in the presence of small and medium myopia is allowed.
4. Requirements for training
He should know the basics of electrical engineering and electronics, the technical characteristics of the computers used, the rules for their operation and control, ciphers and codes, the basics of switching and computer settings. Must possess the skills of working on a computer ("fluently" work on the keyboard, be well versed in the working area), be able to perform calculations and control information carriers.

Bank clerk, accountant, employee of insurance and other social services, secretary-typist, secretary-assistant, accountant.
