1. General characteristics of the profession
Specialist in the organization of production management, taking into account the requirements of market conditions and modern achievements of science and technology.
2. Official duties
Analyzes the status of existing production management systems and develops measures to eliminate the identified deficiencies and prevent them. Examines the performance of the enterprise, the existing management methods in solving production problems and identifies opportunities for improving the efficiency of managerial work, prepares recommendations on the use of scientifically based methods for integrated management tasks using modern information technologies. Participates in the drafting of perspective and current plans for the development of production, in the development of rational organizational structures of production management. Develops measures to improve work processes and operations performed in the management apparatus, document management systems and control over the passage of documents, the use of modern technical means of production management with the necessary calculations of the economic efficiency of their implementation. Organizes the work on the design of methods of management work, the drafting of regulations on structural divisions, job descriptions for employees, ensures the introduction of the necessary changes and additions. Develops, in conjunction with the relevant departments and services, proposals for improving production management. Controls compliance with the requirements of the rational organization of labor and production management in the preparation of projects for expansion and reconstruction of enterprises or their conversion, plans for the introduction of new technology and advanced technology, automation and mechanization of production. It exercises control over the application of intersectoral and sectoral methodological and regulatory materials developed on a centralized basis for the organization of production management. It studies and summarizes advanced domestic and foreign experience in the field of production management, develops proposals for its implementation.
3. Qualification requirements
Engineer for the organization of production management of the first category: higher professional (engineering-economic or technical) education and work experience as an engineer for the management of production of the second category for at least 3 years. Engineer for the organization of production management of the II category: higher professional (engineering-economic or technical) education and work experience as an engineer for the organization of production management or other engineering and technical positions replaced by specialists with higher professional education for at least 3 years. Engineer for the organization of production management: higher professional (engineering-economic or technical) education without presenting requirements for work experience or secondary vocational (engineering-economic or technical) education and work experience as a technician in category I for at least 3 years or other positions replaced specialists with secondary vocational education, at least 5 years.
