1. General characteristics of the profession
Grows agricultural products on their own or leased land, machinery, real estate. Performs various chores: locksmith, welding, construction, manages agricultural machinery. Engaged in the selection, collection, processing, storage and sale of products. Take care of increasing yields, saving livestock, forage, struggling with pests of crops, provides veterinary care.
2. Requirements for the individual characteristics of a specialist
Strong health, physical strength, endurance, interest in nature, land, hard work, self-discipline, enterprise, practical ingenuity and dexterity.
3. Medical contraindications
The work is not recommended for persons suffering from cardiovascular diseases in a stable form, diseases of the musculoskeletal system (arthritis, radiculitis, etc.). With some deviations in the functions of the respiratory and nervous system, moderate physical work in the air promotes good health.
4. Requirements for training
Good knowledge in the field of natural history (botany, anatomy, biology), chemistry, physics is necessary. Must know: the basics of crop, livestock, economics, legal laws and regulations, land use, monetary relations, tax and customs policy; device, operation, control of machine and tractor units. Must skillfully apply in practice knowledge of the procurement, processing and storage of products produced on the farm.
