1. General characteristics of the profession
Works in the chemical industry. Manages the chemical process using an automated system that includes instrumentation, automatic controllers, alarm systems and protection.
2. Requirements for the individual characteristics of a specialist
A successful visual-motor reaction, the ability to concentrate attention for a long time, good spatial imagination and visual-figurative thinking are necessary for successful activity.
3. Medical contraindications
The work is contraindicated for people with diseases: respiratory system (chronic bronchitis, chronic pneumonia, etc.); cardiovascular system (hypertension, heart failure, etc.); digestive organs (chronic liver diseases, etc.); kidneys and urinary tract (renal failure, kidney tuberculosis, etc.); musculoskeletal system (limiting the mobility of the hands); nervous system (obsessive states, fainting, etc.); skin (dermitis, eczema, etc.).
4. Requirements for training
The apparatchik should know: the fundamentals of physics and chemistry (in the volume of a comprehensive school); technology and equipment; technological scheme of the controlled installation; permissible parameters of the chemical process and the rules for their regulation; methods for calculating regulatory actions; principles of operation of instrumentation. He should be able to analyze the data of instrumentation, calculate and implement the effects governing the technological process.
