1. General characteristics of the profession

2. Requirements for the individual characteristics of a specialist
The tiler must have a good linear eye, accurate visual-motor coordination (at the level of hand movements), a good sense of balance and lack of fear of height are also needed.
3. Medical contraindications
Not recommended for people suffering from diseases: respiratory system (a tendency to catarrhal diseases, chronic pneumonia, etc.); musculoskeletal system (chronic rheumatism, etc., as well as diseases that limit the mobility of the hands) of the cardiovascular system (heart failure, heart defects, etc.); nervous system (fainting, etc.); vestibular disorders.
4. Requirements for training
Must know the types of materials used in the lining; ways of marking and dividing horizontal, vertical and curved surfaces, methods of installing and fixing shaped and straight tiles, rules for repair and replacement of tiles.
