The conjugation of two intersecting straight lines by an arc of a given radius is called a rounding of the corners. It is performed as follows (Fig. 32). Parallel to the sides of the angle formed by the data

straight lines, carry out auxiliary straight lines at a distance equal to the radius. The intersection point of the auxiliary straight lines is the center of the arc of conjugation.
From the received center O, perpendiculars are lowered to the sides of the given angle and at the intersection they are obtained by the conjugation points A and B. Between these points a conjugating arc of radius R from the center O is drawn .
