The shape of the family dinner table can give you an idea of who and what place is in the home hierarchy. Of course, such conclusions can be made only if the dining room can accommodate a table of any shape and the shape of the table was chosen consciously, and not randomly. "Open" families prefer round tables, in "closed" families the table is square, and in "authoritarian" - rectangular.
The next time you will organize a dinner party, conduct a small experiment: put the most modest and shy guest at the head of the table, as far as possible from the door, with your back to the wall. You will be amazed at how much more talkative and self-confident this person will become and how much more attentively other guests will react to his words.
