Human legs serve two purposes: they allow you to move forward to get food, and run away from danger. Since the human brain is programmed to take these actions - to strive for the desired and run away from the undesirable, legs and feet immediately show where a person wants to go. In other words, you can tell by legs whether a person wants to continue the conversation or would prefer to leave. Open or unbiased leg positions indicate openness or a desire for dominance. Crossed legs are a sign of closeness or uncertainty.
If a woman is not interested in a man, she can cross her arms over her chest and spread her crossed legs from him. An interested woman will take an open posture and guide her legs towards the man.
