Trapezium

A trapezoid is called a quadrangle, in which only two opposite sides are parallel. ABCD - trapezoid. Parallel sides of the trapezoid are called the bases of the trapezoid. The other two sides are called the sides of the trapezoid.
BC and AD - the base of the trapezoid. AB and CD are the sides of the trapezoid.

The trapezoid EFGI is an equilateral trapezoid . This trapezoid has equal sides. EF = GI. The segment that connects the midpoints of the sides of the trapezium is called the center line of the trapezium . ST is the middle line of the trapezoid. |
