Can't enable virtualization technology on an Intel Xeon processor (or processors), while you know for sure that this processor supports this technology, the platform (motherboard) does too, the option exists in the BIOS, you set it to "Enabled", "Enable" or however "Enabled" is worded, reboot - and the hypervisor still claims that virtualization technology is not supported?
Before you rush off to update the system BIOS - make sure the option is currently enabled, save (write the changes to the BIOS) and power off the server. Completely. Unplug it. Wait until the power supplies fully power down. Wait half a minute. And power it on.
And after (if) the hypervisor happily reports that it has indeed found hardware virtualization support - read the note in the BIOS when you hover the cursor over the virtualization option. It reads roughly as follows (translated into Russian): "The option will take effect only after a complete power-off of the server."
Hope this helps. ;)
