the language bar disappeared from the system tray, how do I bring it back or more precisely enable it?
1.Right-click on the Taskbar. From the context menu select Toolbars-Language bar and put a checkmark next to Language bar
Start-Settings-Control Panel-Regional and Language Options-Languages-Details-Language Bar and put a checkmark in the Show the Language bar on the desktop checkbox. If the checkmark is already there but the Language bar is not showing, remove the checkmark – OK and repeat steps 3-4 in the picture below.
If you find that the button in the Language Bar settings is not active (see figure) then select the Advanced tab-uncheck Turn off advanced text services-Apply-OK-OK and then follow step 2
description of where to enable advanced text services
Check in Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del) whether the ctfmon.exe process is present. If it is not there, Start-Run-ctfmon.exe-OK.
Check for the presence of the ctfmon.exe file itself in C:Windowssystem32ctfmon.exe.
Restore the Language bar by making changes to the registry. Copy the text presented below into Notepad and save it with a .reg extension. Run this file and agree to add the information from the file to the registry
