Caller ID service (AON) not working with Vega operator
we ordered the Caller ID service a month ago - really need it, bought a phone that supports Caller ID
but still nothing works
1. what we did
1. tried any Caller ID option - both plain Caller ID and CallerId - nothing helped
2. disconnected all extraneous devices on the line - parallel phones - dial-up modem - Caller ID still doesn't work
3. most importantly - took the phone and connected it to another line, also Vega, but in a different district, where Caller ID works - so the problem is specifically in the line
4. called support - they're looking into it but hint that we should read the phone's settings
the problem appeared on a Panasonic cordless handset, instead of the incoming number it shows
