Looks like the display has simply reached the end of its life, that happens. Just be careful which one you buy as a replacement, since there are a lot of low-quality fakes nowadays.

You could of course install a non-original one, but it usually won't last very long. It's better to get a branded one, so you don't have to take the laptop apart several times afterward. You can search for your model here http://arc.com.ua/catalog/811/818 I see they have some for LG. I actually ordered a display for my own laptop there, since mine burned out for unclear reasons. I replaced it myself, since the internet is full of various videos and info. If you have time and tools, you can try it too)

Have you tried taking it to a repair shop, maybe the issue isn't the display at all? There could be many causes
I had a similar situation. I turn on my laptop, I have an asus, it seems to boot up, but the screen is dark. I immediately took it to a service center, I have one not far from home, gave it to the guys for diagnostics, they checked everything, it turned out the graphics card had failed. They installed a new one, the laptop works great. Check with an external monitor - if it works, check the cable, and the matrix (screen panel) only as a last resort
