How to correctly decommission the Datecs 3530m fiscal cash register
and install another one in its place?
1. buy a new cash register, register it with the tax office
2. do a full cash withdrawal (collection)
3. do a Z-report
4. do a tax report for the period (periodic report) from the 1st of the month to the day it was last used
5. start working with the new machine without a "service deposit"
and if it says it's not possible to do a withdrawal, do a Z-report?
most likely more than 24 hours have passed since the last Z-report
so it definitely needs to be done,
but it may not succeed if the fiscal memory is full in the machine
what is the maximum fiscal memory in the Datecs 3530m?
approximately 2500 records - if 1 Z-report is done every day then that will last about 6 years; to check how much free space is left -
press and hold the paper feed button while it is powered off, and keep holding it while powering on - a self-diagnostic will print out - which will show the amount of free memory
