can an ADSL splitter be connected in reverse?
You should know that most splitters (not Samsung) have inductive filters:
and there are clearly one input and 2 outputs: Modem and Phone or similar
without a splitter, noise will be heard in the phone, but when using a damaged or incorrectly connected splitter, it is sometimes impossible to establish a connection with the ADSL modem
a large number of splitters can sharply worsen the line parameters
the connection must be strictly observed: the ADSL modem must be connected only to the modem jack, and the phone only to the phone jack
if there are several parallel phones on the line, then all phones must be connected through the splitter to the corresponding output, and the modem output on the other splitter should accordingly remain free
Thus, you cannot swap the connections of the ADSL modem and the phone!!
Moreover, when connecting only the phone to the input and the input itself to the output for the phone - sometimes both the phone and the ADSL modem on the other splitter work normally
