The student must present an educational work plan for the duration of the practicum. Before drawing up the plan, one should become familiar with the educational work plan of the school and the class, and talk with the homeroom teacher. The plan must take into account the age-related capabilities of the pupils, the leading interests within the class group, and include various forms and methods of educational work. A well-thought-out, informal plan will help organize educational activities in the classroom, coordinate the efforts of teachers and parents, and create conditions for the development of the group and the personality of each pupil.
The plan for the first week of teaching practice should include the student's introduction to the class, an analysis of personal files and a conversation with the homeroom teacher about individual pupils, and observation of the class during lessons. The educational work plan includes not only the preparation and holding of school-wide and class-wide activities, but also the performance of the homeroom teacher's everyday duties. These include checking diaries, holding class hours, organizing duty schedules and meals, individual work with pupils and their parents, and conversations with subject teachers. The student should include in the plan the activities necessary for fulfilling the teaching practice program: an extracurricular activity related to the subject, and psychological-pedagogical studies of the pupils.
