Natural numbers, as well as all the numbers opposite to them in sign, and the number zero are called integers.
On the number axis, integers look like this:
The largest and smallest integers do not exist.
Natural numbers are also called positive integers, that is, the words "natural number" and "positive integer number" mean the same thing.
Naturally, among integers there can be neither ordinary nor decimal fractions.
The set of integers is denoted by a capital letter Z.
The set of natural numbers (N) is included in the set of integers (Z).
