All properties of ordinary (integer) powers also extend to fractional powers.
When multiplying the same bases, the degrees of the numbers are added:
When dividing the same bases, the degrees of the numbers are subtracted:
When raising to the power of a number that is already in a power, the old power is multiplied with the new:
There are many properties of roots, but we single out only two, since we consider them to be the most important.
The root of the work is the work of the roots.
The root of a fraction is the root of the numerator and the root of the denominator.
