The arithmetic square root is the reverse action, squared.
It is very important to understand that the square root is just another 1/2 degree record.
In addition to the square root, there is a cubic root (of the third degree), a fourth, etc. the roots. The name of the root is determined by the number on the root.
The root of any degree can be represented as a fractional degree.
Consider how the roots are related to fractional degree . Let x be to degree 3/2. We write this expression through the root sign. The denominator of the fractional degree is sent to the root, and the numerator falls down by the number.
Some more examples:
The square root (second degree root) is the only root that does not have a number on the root. This is a common sign.
