A mobile communications operator is a specialist who provides technical and informational support to users of mobile networks. Depending on their specialization, they may work in a call center, handle equipment configuration, monitor connection quality, process subscriber requests, or coordinate network operations.
Such operators are not only call-center employees but also technical specialists who service base stations, switches, routers, and other telecommunications equipment.
Working as a mobile communications operator requires:
Good hearing and eyesight (especially when working with screens and audio signals)
Absence of chronic neurological diseases
The ability to maintain concentration for long periods
Tolerance for sedentary work and working indoors under artificial lighting
A high level of stress resistance (especially in support services)
The ability to switch quickly between tasks
Patience and politeness when communicating with clients
The ability to perform monotonous work without losing quality
Systems thinking (for technical operators)
Depending on the field:
Call center, customer support: secondary education, communication courses, knowledge of CRM systems
Technical operator: specialized secondary or higher education in telecommunications, radio engineering, or IT
Mobile network engineer: higher technical education, knowledge of communication protocols (GSM, LTE, 5G), experience with Huawei, Ericsson, and Nokia equipment

Certifications from mobile operators (for example, Huawei Certified ICT Associate)
