Human emotions and feelings are specific ways in which people respond to changes in the internal or external environment.
The main characteristics of emotional and sensual experience:
The following forms of manifestation of emotions are distinguished: expressive movements or reactions; emotional action; statements about the emotional states experienced.
Expressive movements - a consequence of emotional arousal (that is, they are usually reactive), this is an external manifestation of emotions.
Emotional actions express or reduce an emotional state. Thus, the sobbing of a person who has received the news of the death of his relative is a form of expressive emotional reaction.
Emotional utterances, or the expression of emotions in the form of verbal signs, indicate the representation of emotions in the human mind.
Emotional and sensual experiences that arise in interpersonal communication are different from emotions and feelings caused by some events, objects, phenomena of nature.
What is the difference between the emotional experience arising in interpersonal communication from emotions and feelings caused by any events, objects, phenomena of nature?
For each level of communication the most significant is a certain level of mutual understanding, coordination and coordination, assessment of the situation and the rules of behavior of each of the participants.
At the social-role level, it is not sincere feelings that are important, but from the point of view of society, correct behavior in a particular situation.
At the business level, participants try to control their emotions.
At the intimate and personal level, the ability of a partner to take into account true feelings and states becomes crucial. Close people tend to feel our true state, even if we demonstrate something else.
Do not forget that many people experience discomfort when others express strong feelings. The ability to feel differently developed in different people, as well as empathy. Hiding, disguising feelings leads to misunderstanding, indifference, leads to the inability to feel anything at all.
