Sexual fantasies

Most often, sexual fantasies accompany masturbation, they do not occur during masturbation in only 20% of male adolescents and 10% of female. For more than half of all men and a third of women, viewing erotic photos or films serves as an incentive for masturbation or an additional source of masturbation fantasies.
Many men and about 30% of women have erotic fantasies during sexual intercourse.

Work on the study of the "erotic imagination" of Quebec residents revealed marked differences between the forms of sexual fantasies in men and women. So, in women, these fantasies more often than in men take on sentimental coloring. If women first of all have an exhibitionistic character (slow undressing), then men often have voyeur-type fantasies (passive presence during erotic scenes, for example, scenes of female homosexual relationships, or contemplation of an undressing or masturbating woman).

For the most part, women are peculiar to a narcissistic type of fantasy (when she imagines that she possesses great sexual attractiveness) or masochistic fantasies (subjected to aggression by one or several sexual partners); in men, fantasies of the fetish type are more common (when a man imagines a woman wearing clothes and other toilet accessories that excite his imagination) or of the type of active coercion (tying up her partner and forcing her to sexual activity).

Polygamous-type fantasies (sexual activity with several women at once), orgiastic fantasies (participation in group sexual activity), orogenital-type fantasies (fellatio, cunnilingus or oral ejaculation) or initiative fantasies (seducing a girl) are also characteristic of men.
