Business process modeling in the ARIS methodology. The function tree
model. Criteria for combining functions: object-oriented; process-oriented; operation-oriented. The "event-driven process chain" model (EPC). Purpose of the model. Principles of model construction. Process branching. Simulation modeling of processes. Models of production
and office processes. The function environment model and its relationship to the data model and process model.
