Hierarchy and downscaling. It should be borne in mind that downscaling is not an artificial device, but a reflection of the intrinsic properties of complex systems. The main factors contributing to the need to downsize complex RES:
The most important property of complex systems is that the parts obtained as a result of disaggregation of different systems can be combined into classes, called levels of disaggregation of radio electronic systems. When systems are disaggregated, a hierarchical principle must be followed, according to which the system must be divided into levels so that the subsystems of the senior hierarchical levels generalize the tasks of the younger ones and the subsystems of the younger ones specify the solutions of the senior levels.
Depending on the formulation of the problem, there are various ways of disaggregating the same system. In accordance with GOST 26632-85, the level of disaggregation of a radio electronic device determines functional or structural complexity.
Recall that four levels of disaggregation were introduced according to their functional complexity: radio electronic system, radio electronic complex, radio electronic device, radio electronic functional node. The disintegration of radio-electronic devices by constructive complexity is one of the most responsible and creative stages in the work of a design engineer and requires a deeper consideration.
