Windows: easily and elegantly manage and configure the boot menu

Practice

If in Windows XP/2003 it was still more or less possible to control the OS boot menu through the GUI (i.e. that screen which appears right after the BIOS POST and lets you, for example, choose which OS to boot if there are several), then in later versions Microsoft decided to stop giving users and administrators the ability to change anything.

To be more precise, there is of course the little BCDEDIT utility, but that's a console tool... and we pay huge amounts of money partly for the GUI, and the console in Windows is no match for the Unix ones.

Well, a solution was found in the form of a free utility that lets you clearly view and fix everything. Including options such as "Test-signing".
