Reasoning by induction: the total number of implementations of the signal N = m n . Then the amount of information that can be carried by the signal J (N) = log 2 N = log 2 m n = n * log 2 m.
Thus, the information contained in a quantized level and time is directly proportional to the number of samples and logarithmic from the number of quantization levels. φ ( N ) = n * log 2 m
