Lecture
The publication of texts containing recommendations (advice) on how to solve these or other tasks is the answer to the relevant information expectations of the audience. What is a recommendation, everyone knows well. If we talk about the type of information that is the content of recommendations, advice, then this will be prescriptive (program) information. Chapter 2 talked about the type of publication, denoted by the concept of “mini-advice,” which we attributed to information genres. But advice, recommendation, maybe an analytical genre.
This type of publication gains this quality as a result of the “deployment” of the prescriptions themselves (increasing their volume) contained in the publication, as well as their substantiation, argumentation, the establishment of causal relationships, evaluative and prognostic judgments.
