We will not even superficially describe the new features of the SQL language in the SQL / 92 standard. This is not very meaningful now, because the only available implementation of SQL / 92 is the expensive version of Oracle V.7. However, it seems useful to include in our guide a summary of dynamic SQL statements with few comments, since SQL / 92 made the first attempt to standardize this part of the SQL language, and this description can be used at least as a reference when comparing different implementations. At the end of the lecture is a brief summary of the new features expected in the new SQL-3 standard, which is still being worked on.
