Russian character

The “riddle” of Russia, and therefore the general consciousness of Russians, the mechanisms of a national character, the significance of its inherent method of reflexive control are being developed and studied today at the interstate level.
Participants, for example, from one of the international forums that touch on the topic of Russia, said that the above-mentioned Hosking had a great service to those who want to better understand this country and its people. Without such an understanding - whether someone likes it or not - humanity cannot develop safely. The same, but in other words, Kissinger argued - one of the most experienced and most authoritative politicians in the world, who was recently called upon to help resolve a number of protracted interethnic conflicts.
But let us return to the place of religion in the formation of the Russian national character, to the advanced position that the attitude to faith does not correlate with its understanding of statehood and the laws of its social development. Some adjustments should be made here. Christianity is accepted in many Slavic countries, and the national characters of the Polish, Bulgarian or Russian, undoubtedly, differ from one another. But there is something uniform in them, formed by a common tradition, and the differences are due to such constituents of the national character phenomenon as historical factors, culture, religion.
National character is both spirit and certainty of actions, and behavior, and perception of the surrounding reality; besides this, the processes of reflexive personality management in society filled with different content. For example, the deep-seated in nature of the Japanese religion promotes his contemplation, wisdom, attitude towards life: the process is everything, the final goal is nothing. The militancy of the Japanese, their attitude to other nations, is composed not only of religious beliefs, but also of other factors and peculiarities of the life of the islanders.
