Lecture
Here are a few useful pieces of advice for healing with music:
Relax – this will help you "open the doors of the unconscious" and
fully receive the effect of the music. In doing so it does not matter whether you
want to experience a calming effect or a stimulating, mood-lifting one.
Music therapy sessions should be fairly short, so as not to cause fatigue and possible defensive reactions.
The strength or loudness of the music must be regulated carefully. A low
volume should be chosen not only for calming music, but also for
stimulating music. High volume tires and shocks the nervous system.
After listening to therapeutic music, rest for some time.
This favors its full effect on the unconscious, one that does not disturb one's peace of mind.
It is known that the unconscious is most active during sleep, while
also remaining receptive to external impulses. Therefore music therapy can be applied during sleep. The therapeutic use of music during sleep is especially recommended for children, in
psychiatry, and in general for anxious and agitated people.
One should learn to listen to music in order to become nobler, to be cleansed,
or even to resolve certain problems. When listening to a piece of music,
one must above all know what it represents, whether it is a

good or an evil force, what kind of energy it carries. Whatever force it awakens, one must know how to use it.
Listening to music helps develop a special type of attention and memory, eases the process of overcoming difficulties, providing a creative
environment for self-expression. Music evokes memories and associations.
Actively listening to music in a relaxed and receptive state
stimulates thoughts, images, and feelings that can be further explored and discussed with a doctor or within a supportive community. Listening to music is a good way to explore and understand our own
culture and others.
Music should be used as a tool of inner creativity, so that through it you
can undertake enormous spiritual work: to conceive lofty images and ideas that will be realized over time. This is especially true when it comes to deep, mystical, religious
music that elevates and uplifts you. Music is a force. Music
can become an extremely powerful means of awakening, ennobling, transforming, and perfecting.
