  Vector coordinates

There are vectors a. Let A (x; y) be the head of the vector, and A` (x`; y`) be the end of the vector. The coordinates of a are the numbers a1 = xx`, a2 = yy`. To indicate that the vector a has coordinates a1 and a2, use the notation a (a1; a2) or (a1; a2).

The absolute value of the vector a (a1; a2) is equal to

  Vector coordinates

If the beginning of the vector coincides with its end, then this is a zero vector , denoted by (0).
