The disadvantages of task-oriented leadership are that it can lead to a lack of autonomy and creativity of employees, which can lead to low morale in the office. When an employee has to work in very strict deadlines and is overly task oriented, he can lead to a decrease in company culture. Employees who are self-motivated tend to rebel in such conditions.
Lack of creativity in case of excessively focused on specific tasks management can also negatively affect the company's products, since it, as a rule, slows down innovations. When a manager is too task oriented, the disadvantages can sometimes outweigh the positive points.

A people-centered management style tends to intensify employees because it makes them feel grateful for the work they do. One of the biggest benefits of people-centered management is that the emphasis on employee relations makes employees feel that they affect the company. And better, more effective efforts come from people who believe that they are part of the company's success.
Minuses
People-centered leadership faces several challenges. Sometimes employees may feel that the duties they are given are overwhelming, and they may need more guidance. Ineffective decisions can arise if the emphasis is on the relationship between a manager and an employee, and not on important business decisions that need to be made.
