Lecture
Mixed says that a parameter can take many (but not necessarily all) types.
This can be an integer or fractional number, a string, an array, or an object ... For example, the parameter of type mixed has the standard gettype function () or the settype function () . If it is written that the function returns mixed , this means that the type of the result depends on the operands and is specified when describing the function.
In general, when writing functions, you do not need to type the names of the types! They are needed only to clarify the syntax of a function.
