Look, it's my drawing! There's a little house there, so small and cozy, almost like a toy. It has a triangular roof, like a gnome's hat, and smoke billows from the chimney—as if the house were breathing and sighing. The windows are rectangular, like eyes looking into the forest.
Behind the house grow tall trees, like giants. They are sharp and prickly, like fir trees, and stand close together, as if whispering their forest secrets. The forest is so vast that it seems to embrace the house, like a mother tucks a child into a warm blanket.
The ground beneath the house is smooth as a rug, and the house itself looks as if it's been living there forever, in the forest. I think there's a little man living inside who can talk to the trees, and every morning they tell him stories about forest animals!
