Look, I drew a carrot and cherries on a hot yellow background!
My carrot is long, like a thin rocket, only orange. It goes down and gets narrower and narrower, like a tail. It has green leaves on top, and they're so funny—like lots of thin blades of grass sticking out in different directions, like its hair is all messed up. I made them long on purpose so you could see that the carrots are fresh and straight from the ground.
And next to them, I drew two round cherries. They're red, like little balls or buttons on a dress. They're held together by thin green sticks—these are their legs. These sticks connect, and at the top, they have two green leaves, like wings. I like that they're in pairs, like friends, always together.
Carrots and cherries are different: carrots are vegetables, they live in the ground, while cherries are fruits, they grow on trees. But I drew them side by side because they're both delicious and vibrant. The carrots are tall and serious, while the cherries are small and cheerful. It's as if they're talking to each other.
I tried my best to color them brightly: I made the carrots orange so they'd stand out, and the cherries red so they'd sparkle, as if they were sweet. Both have green leaves because green makes the drawing lively, like summer. When you look at them, it seems like they're smiling.
