The main types of memory:

Random-access memory (RAM) is like a desktop: it helps quickly, but everything disappears when you turn off the computer.

Read-only memory (ROM) is like a book of instructions: it doesn't erase itself, even if you turn it off.

Hard drive (HDD/SSD) is like a cabinet: it stores games, photos, and programs for a long time.

Cache memory is like a pocket: it's very fast, preventing the processor from waiting.

External memory (flash drives, disks) is like a backpack: you can carry and share files.
